Don't know how many got a chance to see this the other night but I found it interesting. A segment on PBS Nova that features Zebra finches in understanding how brains process and produce speech (and obviously song)

That is very intersting.......I also realize I have some zebra stutterers :shock:

That is REALLY awesome. That was a good clip. I only have 1 Zebra and he is not a stutterer.
Goulds, Owls, Gold Breasts, Stars, Zebras, Societies
An obscene number of chicks and eggs
And an incredibly rare St. Goldena Breast finch
Anyone want some finches???

That's a very interesting movie, thanks so much for sharing!
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.
