Gouldian white breast male + white breast female
This combo can only ever have white breast young, right? There's no way you could ever get anything but a white breast from them?

I am not sure if you are just being silly or serious lol.. but white breated birds can not be split for anything.
White is recessive to both purple and lilac so if the bird was carrying either it would visually display the latter rather than white

Purple and lilac breasted birds can be split for White - and be visually purple or visually lilac respectively.. but a visually white breasted bird is only white and cant carry any other breast colors. :/

I never use them but this isn't the first time I have heard of it generating incorrect information. Which one are you using?
Does it give you a photo of the bird when you roll over the genotype and does it show a 'white breasted' bird but say it is /lilac? If so yep... wrong :/

Aha.....I only saw that we could clic on split for lilac, but they won't show a bird.

This is the genetic's calculator I use.. or I email Tiffany
http://www.amadinagouldove.cz/gouldian- ... /index.php
This site does not even give u the option of white/lilac as it isn't possible, like Tiffany says...
Hope this helps
