I know I'm going to be 'rode out of town' by you all, but I have no pictures at this moment

I think I have a fawn half-sider zebra that just got it's adult plumage. It has faint but definite cheek patches but no other male markings except for half of it's tail is barred. Other than that it looks like a female fawn Zebra.
Are half-sider Zebras pretty common?
I'll include pictures tomorrow.
