Bars or No Bars on Zebra Tail
I have 4 pairs of Zebra's and I just noticed that one of the hens does not have any bars on her tail. Can someone show me a photo of a Zeb Hen's tail. I thought they all had bars of some sort...

most every zebra has some sort of pattern to their tail...the parents may have plucked the tail feather out...some of mine do this.

Re: Bars or No Bars on Zebra Tail
One of my juvies doesn't have any because he's molting and they are just now starting to grow back. The barred feathers are just peeking out. could it be a molt?
