hi psilocybin6
not only does it take a lot of effort - it also takes quite a bit of cash. these pieds are very rare. i also have 5 of her pied brothers and sisters.
at the moment she is paired with a pied cock and has built a nest. two of her brothers are paired with cinnamon hens.... not sure on them. her other sisters are with unrelated fawn cocks and i'm pretty sure they have eggs.
she's a nice hen but in colour her brothers are not too far behind her.
i'm right into diamonds and have about 8 pairs of cinnamons - 4 pairs of fawns and 3 pair pieds plus a heap of normals.
i have young cinnamons ready to leave the nest in a few days time. might be able to post a photo later
she is indeed my favourite and the very first bird i greet daily. i actually had some better photos of here but my file were too big so had to reduce the meg and do them again. she's a bit camera shy and at times hard to get in frame.
regards

Deborah,

Graham is from Australia. He does magnificent work with pied mutations. :)
