Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but came across it when I was researching zebra colour mutations. After studying this forum for a while, I'd like to take a crack at this.

First picture - Grey Pied Saddleback Cock
Second picture - Grey Pied Hen (very pretty)
Third picture - Beautiful Grey Pied Cock
Fourth picture - Would be nice to have a clearer pic, but I'm leaning towards Black-Cheek Grey Pied COCK (due to flank spotting and chest bars visible - seems like more than should be seen on a hen, although some hens, especially black-cheeks show some of these markings at times).

Look forward to the opinions of the others, I love trying to figure these things out.

You have a beautiful collection of Pied Zebs here - Congrats!

The more white and pied you introduce into the pied line the more color is removed. (I wrote a reply to that effect on your other topic).

This site explains what is required or desirable for showing pied. It also explains the peids genetics.

They are both pied! I would breed them. I do not know about pieds being showed, but if you breed your pair, take one of the male babies and breed it to the white hen. Then you will get even whiter babies. If you keep breeding pieds, more white will show up. After a few generations you will get saddlebacks, which are rare, and all white (cannot have tail bars or anything) which people show. Remove that white hen and leave the two original pieds by themselves

you could also breed the male on the first
photo with the white female.
you could get interesting outcome from them.
And breed the hen in the second photo
with the male in the third photo.
:)

And then pair the offspring together! But Elma, I think they are the same male, just different angles.

I think two males.

you can see the male in the first photo is almost all white.
only the back and the tail have color.
And the second male have grey on this head, cheek, wing and neck
on those areas that the almost white bird has no grey color,
if you know what I mean :)

I didn't realize the last picture had the second bird on both angles. Sorry. So I also reccomend two pairs, then pair the offspring together
