Split BB For Sure!!

Post by DanteD716 » Tue Feb 28, 2012 2:43 pm

So, my Black Breasted (bb) male has been alone for quite some time now! I had him with my BCCCFW (black cheeked continetal chestnut flanked white) hen for a while, nothing happened so I removed them. Well I have been waiting to get BC (black cheeked) male for a while, still waiting. I was moving birds and examined my BCCCFW, (I thought she was /BB before but not sure) Well now I know! :D she has 4 hourglass shaped tail feather, and 3 that are shaped like an hour glass with an extra tier, she was with a hen who ripped out some of her tail, and now I am kind of happy they got ripped put because they grew in with my answer! I put her with the BB and they started courting within minutes. What a pleasant twist to my day! (sorry for the ramble, had to share with somebody, gotta go finish!)
