YH/WB/GB Chick

Post by waxbill lover » Fri May 04, 2012 9:08 pm

Just wanting to express my excitement over one of my gouldian chicks that is starting to moult.

He's got orange feathers coming in on his head, white coming in on his chest, and green coming in on his back.

I am SO excited as all I've ever got from these parents are BH/WB/GB females and RH/PB/GB males/females.
This little guy is going to be gorgeous! I'm gonna keep him for some future breeding! I have a YH/WB/YB female that he'd make such beautiful babies with...

Quite nice looking I would say. Question: How do you know he is a male?

He sings, and is quite boisterous amongst the other birds. I've seen him mate with the other birds (even at this young age!)

He was born in Feb or March... I can't remember which clutch he was from.
