Sooooo confused. What is she?
This is a baby from a plain old CWF pair. A girl BUT no eye tears. Otherwise all white, slight grey on head and buff tale feathers. So is she a CWF/white, white/CWF or something else? My pics stink. These are the best I can do. She has bonded with a CWF male.

Re: Sooooo confused. What is she?
The dusting on the head and the faint tail bars shows she had CFW in her blood, possibly a split. The lack of a tear could be that one of her parents are a white split.
If either of the parents are split to white you will get either males or females CFW/white and CFWs. The white gene removes the tear.
25.0% Females >> CFW / White
25.0% Females >> CFW
25.0% Males >> CFW / White
25.0% Males >> CFW
Are both parents Continentals....black barring on the tails or lighter like the offspring pictured?

Don't have any info on the parents. She was a gift. It's hard when you do have the geneology but without any info impossible, I know.

I have a male penguin that always has a WHITE hen like that in each clutch. I don't remember if the tail has bars on it.
