CFW Males
Can you point me in the right direction, How do you get a CFW male? I know its a sex linked gene which I don't completely understand. I have produced CFW hens from 2 gray birds but always hens. Also would like to see pics of a BCCFW. Thanks

Re: CFW Males
CFW is sex linked, the male carries the gene. Female CFWs are only visual and do not carry the gene.
If you have a CFW hen and a normal male you will get male offspring that are split to CFW.
You will need a split to CFW or full visual CFW male and a visual CFW female to make visual CFW offspring.
If you produced CFW hens from two grays then the dad was split to CFW. A split or full CFW male will produce hens that are CFW.
