Split to BC maybe split to BB ??

I've bin looking at this big male for a few weeks now trying to deside if he is a split to BB I now he's split to BC - but not sure about anything else what do you guys think?

He is split to BB, hourglass shape in the tail feather!! The wide tear might also be a split to BC.

Most definitely split to BB and possibly BC as well!!
Cindy, how would you explain the lack of white bars on the tail feathers other then the one? that is SO WEIRD, i have never seen that before!

notice the look of the tail on a full BB....lots of black...what I look at is the hourglass shape to really show that the bird is a split to BB. Tails and tailbars can look so out of whack at times but there are only a few that I know of that show markers for splits.

and split to LB to!!! Congratulations!! check out your parent birds' tails...see if they show the split BB, two of my BC hens show it....did not know I was banding young and noticed the hourglass.

Ok here a question --- since BB is recessive --- is it a good chance that his mother is a carrier of the BB gen as well as his father ?

Usually if both are carries you would get full BB but since Isabel and OB are involved you may be seeing the orange more than BB traits.

Can you post both parentsfrom and tails?
