This is just a personal opinion, and please don't jump all over me for this, but I don't understand the reasoning behind breeding all the color out of one of the most colorful finches. I realize it is for the challenge, but I still think you can't beat a RH, GB, PB Gouldian--JMO.

Sally, I don't see why anyone would jump all over you for your opinion. I know lots of people who feel the same way as you. I too believe its for the challenge of figuring out how diverse the species is/can be color wise. I personally find it fascinating but at the same time I have no interest in doing it myself.Sally wrote:This is just a personal opinion, and please don't jump all over me for this, but I don't understand the reasoning behind breeding all the color out of one of the most colorful finches. Just catching up!!! The first chick looked lovely, so sorr you lost 'em but congrats on getting the newest chcik, so pretty the all white..
BUT I agree with Sally, it just looks like a white zebra to me. Looks bland, I like the look of normal gouldians, the silver and white don't show much color
