Whats this society baby?
This was not what I was expecting from this pairing. What color is it? fawn? I see some grey in the tail. what do you guys think considering the parents (the first two pictures.)
It's pretty anyway and has ruby eyes!

That looks like a fawn pied. Fawn always have red eyes and I see some white pin feathers too. The fawn pied is one of my favorites. Congrats!

Re: Whats this society baby?
I see the white on the one wing, so I wonder if that indicates a pied gene, like with zebras, but I'm not sure about the pied in Society's. The fawns and albinos have red eyes and the chick has red eyes, so maybe it will look pearl. I was told a pearl self, is genetically a chocolate Society.

I believe the red eyes indicate an Ino, such as Creamino, or an albino. Fawns normally have dark eyes.

They have light eyes at hatch, unfortunately, which makes it confusing. The eyes get darker as they age.Sally wrote: I believe the red eyes indicate an Ino, such as Creamino, or an albino. Fawns normally have dark eyes.
