I've never seen one.. Is there a Zebra one either? I think the only ones I've ever seen mentioned are for Gouldians..

Hm, somebody should make one. There is a zebra one, but it doesn't have all the mutations.nixity wrote: I've never seen one.. Is there a Zebra one either? I think the only ones I've ever seen mentioned are for Gouldians..

Re: Society gentic calculator?
Recently my wife bought me this book called , The Bengalese Finch by Fred Panjer and Ian Wigmore , translated from an original published in Dutch
It's a very extensive publication 142 page's , from basic care with bengalese through to all the colour mutation's and how to produce them including Grey's and Pearl's . Excellent book
Regards , Mick M.

Dante, the NBFA website has what I consider to be the best info on Society genetics - but have to say also that I am going to order the Bengalese book as I understand the authors to be true experts. I'll let you know how that is.
Here is the page on greys: http://www.nbfa.co.uk/page16.html
and the page on Pearls: http://www.nbfa.co.uk/Page58.html

I love the NBFA website and think it's the only place available on the web with all this info. Also am looking forward to receiving the book, Mick. I enjoy all my birds, but the Societies are so wonderful - couldn't imagine being without them.
