Cindy I know this is off topic but I am curious with the storm heading your way what do folks in your area do with
their outdoor avairies.

I am prepared to bring in all my birds. The worst part is having to hand feed all of the babies in the aviaries!!!

I did not read through any posts besidess the one you made Sherry, so here is what I think:

First chick is CFW/bc.. Dad is also split CFW because both parents need to carry the CFW gene for CFW males.

The second post is a fawn hen, and a normal male.. They are also /bc if they are from the same clutch as the first chick.

Since it is a fawn hen Dad is Bc/fawn & CFW mom is CFw so from this pair you can probaly get

Fawn/ BC female
CFW/ BC females
Normal/ BC female
CFW males /BC and possibly fawn
Normal males/ possibly split to CFW & fawn
and you do have the chance of getting fawn cfw/bc females

I am trying to answer withouy reading Cindy's posts to see how close I get!!!

Since fawn and CFW are sexlinked, Dad must be split and can only prouce visual females.

Mom the CFW can only produce normal/CFW males.

That is how you got CFW males, from dad being split.

BC is recessive so all his chicks will be splits.

Hope I got everythign correct!

I am posting new photos of the Zebra Fledglings from the BC/CFW male and the CFW hen.

Any comments on them welcome...

Now I am posting a photo of my other 3 Zebra Males

I guess to get more color I will have to get some different hens as the 4 hens I have are 2 CFW and 2 are fawn.

Looks like the babies are CFW/BC...the wide tear mark gives the hint they are splits. It will be interesting to see how they color out...if dad is a CFW, these are most likely hens. Usually the BCCFW young come out of the nest with full cheeks like this:

Sherry, can you get a clearer shot of the babies....the one in the front looks to have black smudges in the cheeks...I enlarged the picture but the wide tear is what stands out the most.
