Pied CFW?

I got 2 pied fawns and a pied norm out of a cfw female and nomal male. The male has no trace of white anywhere so he can't be a pied split. Can the cfw mom be pied? If not maybe the normal male is not the father.

zebras can be split but not show it, the gene is recessive and can either show with white wing edges, white under the chin or on top of the head or the split to a recessive gene stays hidden in the parent and shows in the offspring. Not all offspring will show markers for a split and some will.

Since it is recessive and either parent can carry pied the mother could also be split or a pied CFW

What are the sex of your fawn offspring?

If hens your father is split to fawn (it is sex linked and males carry the gene, hens are visual and only give split to fawn males if not paired with a visual fawn or split to fawn male).

If males that means dad is split to fawn and your hen is a fawn pied
