ANYONE HEARD OF THESE SOCIETIES????

Post by GouldianGirl » Thu Dec 12, 2013 12:43 am

First of all just wanted to mention that my yellow/green gouldian clutch has fledged!!!! I have 2 green babies and one came out like a light dilute or yellow.
But my off topic question is, has anyone heard of or seen tricolour society finches? Being part white, part chocolate, and part chestnut? Like a calico cat actually lol. They are stunning and wonder where I can find these. Any info is appreciated :D

Tri-Color Society finches can be very beautiful. Unfortunately, they are a genetic "mistake" that is not reproducible. Very few are ever produced - I have only seen photos - and not many. Any who have tried to breed for this color trait have not been successful.
