Hello and Help Identify Please Please

Post by FaerieFinch » Tue Mar 18, 2014 5:29 pm

Hello, I am new to the forum and I am so excited to be here!! After reading many posts, you all seem so helpful and friendly. :D

I have a question about identifying some Zebbies. This is driving me crazy trying to research and figure out!! LOL
The first set are of my own. Don't know what the hen, fledgling or father is (in first 3 pics) for sure since his breast bar is grey. Mom was CFW. The young hen has lot's of orange lacing and tears. Dad has no lacing. I included notes with each pic.

Last 2 pics - I am getting these from a friend a couple hours away who is getting out of Zebs. She got them in trade from another person. She is not up with genetics, just loved having them.
I recognize the CFW female, but I am thinking some of the others may be hiding something possibly.

Sorry….I only know the basics of the genetics. :|
Thanks in advance!!

New fledgling from that Dad. What is she? Her older sister is in 3rd pic. There was a gray and what looked like a CFW in this clutch.

Her again with Dad.

This one is my girl from and older clutch same parents. The other was a grey in the clutch of 2.

Mom is a CFW, dad is a Florida silver (If in the states, if not he is a silver Isabel) Dad is likely split to fawn since fawn is sex linked...if not paired with a visible fawn hen he will give fawn female offspring. Baby is fawn, likely a hen. Mom can not give you visible CFW unless she is paired with a split to CFW or visible CFW male.

The picture second from the last, male on the right is a Florida Fancy (if in the states, if not it is an Isabel), CFW hen to the left, one with the horn colored beak a Fawn, likely a hen, Normal gray male...if he is the father to the fawn then he is split to fawn. Far left a FF hen. (FF is Florida Fancy)

Thanks Cindy. What about the hen in the 3rd pic down with lot's of orange lace? Dad Florida Silver and mom CFW

And last pic male on the left? He has no tear marks and his breast bar is gray.

The bird looks like Fawn Florida Fancy or Fawn/FF (orange lacing indicates FF, it can also indicate split to Black Breast but I do not see it)

Cindy said it all, and she's the best.
All I can add, is welcome to the forum. The birds are lovely, but then again, all Zebbies are lovely ( including my terrorists) :-)
