iv herd that with some birds you can tell what the may look like by there nodules. is that the same with zebra's? :-k

I think that only applied to Lady Gouldian finches. The centre of three nodules on each side of their mouths can depict whether they will be green, yellow or other mutation.

As Liz said, what they are referring to applies to Gouldians and being able to tell what mutation they will be.

If you go to efinch.com, this is a website about Zebras, and if you look under species, down at the bottom of the page is a link to mouth markings. You might find it interesting to see the different mouth markings within the Zebra family.
