They are so adorable. I don't know anything about the AY? Is that a more rare type of gouldian color?

Update:
the baby definitely has red pupils but it just looks different to the other yellow backs from other clutches, the yellow on its back is a lot more brighter and is a lot less creamy on the back than on the other yellows.
Its definitely going to be white breasted as well.

in the second last pic you can see the dad of the baby with the red head.

I don't breed gouldians, but is that all white one with the red eyes considered albino? Or, the lutino is the gouldian version of albino? My only finches with red eyes are the Society albinos.

If you look close you'll see it is not actually all white. You can see the powder yellow color on the mantle (the area between the 'shoulders') - if it was a true albino it would have no color at all with red eyes.

The albino Gouldian is actually a combination of Lutino and Blue.
So, it is similar to a Silver in that a Silver is combining Blue and Yellow.

It is achieved in the same way.

Question = is a lutino the same thing as a AY?
What's the difference between the AY and the Euro Yellow?
Do all lutino's or AY have red eyes?

I know nothing about breeding gouldians but I'm finding this little one fascinating.

This is a very interesting chick - congratulations!
But I am not sure about Lutino.
I think my lutinos look in the very first beginning more white - your chick looks other to me the eyes are not so red as my lutinos have. But perhaps it comes from the lightning or the camera.
In Germany the Albinos are blue lutinos - I attach a picture with a blue, a lutino and an Albino chick.

well those are some really good baby pics....and nixity, i love your pictures as well I have used your hatchling skin color pages so much. I find it to be one of the most useful gouldian resources. Thanks for putting in the effortand time it took to put it together!
