Interesting bird.
The white spots on the head and back and the zebra stripes (male stripes/markings) on the neck confuse me.

I think you will have to wait for one or two more weeks
and see what happends :)

maybe its a male with no flanks and no cheeks.

or a female with male markings.

or a late (male) bloomer. :)

Vargur - Hello! Yes, we will see. I still think this bird is a girl and I have put her with a sharp looking male to see what happens. It's only been a couple of days, but they are getting along - at least so far. :)

The female in the cage with the white bird looks split to BC and possibly split to BB

The picture at the top of the female (?) with throat bar s most likely after all this time have the fault marking mentioned earlier.
