Tiffany, are you speaking of the top of the tail, the white area the base of the tail, down the tail a bit and extends a bit up the lower back inbetween the wings a little? The upper coverlets (see link below) If so this is normal for most zebras depending on the mutation. Your male is a split to pied for sure, I have not seen or read about any indicators for split to pied in that area.Tiffany2 wrote:Hi, I noticed when my male holds his wings a certain way he has a white feather between his wings leading to the top of his tail.
