Re: Guess Mutation?
I questioned what she is because the person I got her from called her a "cream", but to me she looks like my other CFW. Thank you for your help! I understand how pictures can be hard to see on a phone lol.

Re: Guess Mutation?
I was going to go out on a limb and suggest she is an Isabel. I have white with red eyes and slight light markings on the tail and some have tears. As you said there are so many possibilites.
As the chicks mature hopefully it will give you a better clue.

Re: Guess Mutation?
Thanks! One more quick question though... Any idea why their beaks are so pale?

Re: Guess Mutation?
Beak color often is an indicator to some mutations when the chick is young.

Re: Guess Mutation?
Fawns often have horn or brownish beaks. Isabels will vary from horn to a pink and pieds can show very light pink. All change to orange...red in males as they mature.

Re: Guess Mutation?
I think the "fawn" birds have a rather white belly and light colour to be just normal fawns.
I am going to say that they are Fawn Lightbacks. Just to mess everything up
Here is a picture from a former post from Elma, this female of hers is Fawn LB.

Also one of her Fawn Lightback chicks:

(sorry Elma, I'm using your pictures shamelessly ;) )
And Elma states in her former post that the parents of this bird are female: CFW fawn, male: LB.

Re: Guess Mutation?
I agree with Ameza ;)
here is one of my Fawn CCFW youngter with her family,
She is very pale compared to your chicks.

another photo. fawn CCFW
SO, because your birds have darker wings and tail and head,
I think thhey are LB Fawns ;)
and you also got there a beautiful CFW split BC male
If you can get tail photos of the babies, that would also
help ID the color.
