Female #1 from first clutch - fawn. Thin tear mark and tail feather color means she is probably split to BB? Does the buff underneath mean she might be split to OB as well?

Female #2 from first clutch - grey, but split to BB based on tail feathers and missing tear mark. Is there a way to know if she is split to OB as well?

Parents: Both have to be split to OB and split to BB because of the chicks they have raised.
You can tell the male is split to BB because of his thin tear mark and his tail coloring. He isn't full BB because his tail isn't correct. Is there anything you can see that would tell you he is split to OB?
You can tell the hen is split to BB because of her thin tear mark and her tail coloring. Can you tell she is split to OB in any way?
All male chicks from this pair have to be split to fawn. Correct? Is there any way to tell that they are split to fawn?

As for this new guy, you say FF - Florida Fancy, correct? But could we get a Florida Fancy from the pair we have, or might this be an Isabel since that is a recessive gene and wouldn't be seen in the parents?

FF is co-dominant and birds can be split to it. We don't use the term Isabel in the states. http://www.efinch.com/species/ffzeb.htm FF can have orange lacing in the wings.
I need to ask where you are located?
Your bird looks FFOBBB

Re: Help ID Zebra finch colors
I'm in Canada. I don't know the background of these birds as we didn't get them from a pet store but from an individual. However, I don't think they are show birds of any kind.
I was reading the link from that page about the difference between FF and Isabel, how they are different alleles at the same gene. http://www.efinch.com/species/ffxisabelzeb.htm As I read it, since they are co-dominant and even if they have one gene, you would be seeing this as a single factor FF in both the male and the female if they had a chick who was double factor. What am I not understanding here?
