no u should mate him with white hen or white split to saddleback
take in consideration that for the white, pied and saddled mutations, the breeder will be attentive to the length of the feather. cross schimmel (long feathering ) with intensive (short feathering ) is very strongly recommended. It is important to avoid mating 2 large schimmel birds, the quality offeathering will not be good in youngsters.

Ok thank you. Also you mentioned something about split to black face but where I live I think we only the basic mutations which is pied, normal, cfw, fawn, and saddleback which is heavy pied.

Hi there I have a white finch, I just have to wait and see if it's a female tho. Is it ok if it has a slight mark on the feathers?
