There are few ways to go with CFW's you can pair it with a full BC to get BC CFW's. Efinch gives a few suggestions and has a visual with each.

A CFW male with an isabel hen would give

100% Normal/Isabel

if you punch in silver (SF) and isabel with a CFW male you get:

50% Silver (SF) /Isabel
50% Normal/Isabel

and finnaly, since she is isabel/bc with a CFW you get:

50% Normal/Black cheeked Isabel
50% Normal/Isabel

may I add, a CFW male can throw CFW hen chicks

If you use one of the silvers from this clutch you will need to include more than the silvers visual trait but the genes she is split to

Such as Silver Isabel, splits to BC (females can not be split to fawn or LB)

Well my zebra British zebra finches have 2 babies in the nest right now and one of the babies is a very light pink and at first i thought it was an albino cause it had red eyes but now after reading the web sight that was posted i know that my male which shows a normal grey, is split to the continental CFW. My female shows normal grey as well, and whats even more interesting is the clutch they raised before this one, they had one baby that was a black cheek. So i keep finding new things out about my British zebra finches every clutch that they have.

It looks to be a silver boy, the one with cheek patches did a lot of singing as well, it was a bit hard to tell at first. Watch the throat of the silver one.

There are color combinations like what I spoke about that can wipe out orange. Black and orange typically fight each other and pied wipes the orange and color out also. I would watch and see, I do have females that chirp a lot but do not sing like a male.

I think what ever is visual and hidden in your birds gene makeup took his orange away.

Bear in mind when the females are in breeding condition the beaks will darken.

True test is if it lays eggs!!!!!

at 0:18 you can see the silver singing without distraction of the other male. Oshtay, what a nice big cage!

Thanks Dante. I built the cage with leftovers from my chicken coop. It's normaly one big flight. I put a divider because these guys were bullying my societies.

After working with 1/4" hardware cloth for the chicken coop and a couple cages; I don't think I'll ever buy another cage..

How much did it cost in total?? Instead of having a 12x12 aviary, I am thing of making several large flights in the room, or a 6x6 aviary

The throat vibration gives it away to even when the other male is sounding off!

There are different sizes for the hardware cloth. I think the roll I got was 4ft by 20ft for around $50.

There is also black hardware netting that works great. Just use a staple gun to attach it to a simple wood frame. $16 for a 3ft by 25ft roll.
