I have found that the easiest way to tell the females apart besides the bright fuschia beak of the BCCB (at least for me) is their crests. The female and male BCCB are much more densely feathered on their heads and when they raise their crests you get a big round head. With the RCCB males and females their heads are not so densely feathered and when they raise their crests their heads are smaller and if you look at a male RCCB in profile when he has his crest raised you will get sort of an oval shape where the feathers stand out more at the BACK of his head instead of all over.
It's really apparent if you have both species for a while.
Do your females both have the same size crests and same color of beak? If so, they are most likely the same species.

Side by side you can easily tell the difference between a BCCB hen and a RCCB hen.
