Pastel gouldian from a blue + green blue split?

I have a blue male (silver head) and green female who is split for blue. The male I was told had a silver father.
Out of their 3 chicks, 2 are green, 1 is a very light grey silver colour, practically identical to one of my young pastels.
Is it even genetically possible for this cock + hen to have pastel offspring? Even if the blue cock had a silver or pastel as a parent?

I don't know what you mean by Silver Head Blue Male - I'm guessing it is a BH SF Pastel Blue? Like this?:
If so - a SF Pastel Blue male paired to a Normal/Blue Hen would produce the following (assuming both birds are PB and not carrying WB or LB):
Normal/Blue Cocks Hens
Dilute/Blue Cocks
Yellow/Blue Hens
Blue Cocks and Hens
SF Pastel Blue Cocks
Silver Hens

No, the father looks like this, just a plain blue looking bird.

It does look like a Pastel juvenile to me, which is possible if the father of this baby is also Pastel.
This is a link to photos of various pastel babies of mine:

Father is a blue, mother is a green split for blue.

What do you mean by a Silver head, then?
I picture something like a "White" headed yellow Gouldian which is caused by the yellow gene.
Does your male have a black bib, or is it grey in color?
Do you have a photo of him?
Is there any chance the hen could have bred with a different male before she was paired with this one (they can store sperm for up 14 days).

Then it can't be a pastel - or rather - it can be, but he is not the father.

The photo of your male: He is either Red Head or Orange Head, White Breasted Blue.
Paired to a Green Back split to blue hen.. if she is purple breasted..
according to the genetic's calculator.
you could get.... blue's and greens/blue in both sexes
if she is white breasted you'd get the same, with white breast...
if she is purple split to white breast, the babies could be purple breasted visually but be split to white breast.. and/or white breasted...
if the baby looks grayish in color and his chest is darkish, it is probably a purple breasted blue back..
I hope this helps.. I use this site to calculate what the outcomes could be..I think alot of gouldian breeders use this site also..
