Society Finch Color?
Hey everyone! I posted this picture of my societies way back when and never asked what color the male was? He is the one on top. This is also the pair that are great fosters but now working on them having there own clutch. They are no longer in this cage but in a separate one with just them! They are my favorite finches, because they are just so calm and when I enter the bird room they will literally stick half there bodies out of there nest to see what I am up to!

At first glance I would have said Fawn - but the color up by the face looks much darker, more like a Chestnut..
