Help? Gouldian confusion...again

I had these 2 birds...not related seperated for a while. I had made a post about one of them under cinnamon? here a few months ago. I decided one was a male...due to the long tail wilers...but it has never sang and it's beak is flush with color. The other one that looks identical has shorter tail feathers and has never sang so I said female...beak also flushed with color. I decided to add a BH ytb hen to the mix and watch fro behavior.... well all just sit around and eat... no courting, no singing, no flirting with the boys next door...though lately they have been watching them more. I am now thinking they are all hens. But why the long tail wires on the one... and the color is soooo deep on the bellies and backs...... opinions please?
The two in question

With the for sure hen.... notice how much deeper colored the chest and bellies are on these RTB.. which are flushed with color

Hi Candace,
I've had hens with really long tail wires, so I wouldn't use that to determine the sex. Unless it has a lilac breast, I'd say it's a hen.
The difference in beak colors looks like one is split to yellow head.

...waiting for what others have to say.... [-o<

Thanks Jordan...I know the one with the yellow tipped beak is a hen...the 2 in question were the 2 red tipped beak ones. I was stumped with the one because of the long tail wire and the deep colors . Glad to know hens can have these long tail wires too. That helps :D
I think they are all hens...which makes me happy...I have boys that will love these fat girls

In my opinion they all look like females. The two with slightly darker breasts just seem to have a deeper color. To me (not an expert) non of the backs are dark enough to indicate to me that they are males. Looking to see what everyone else thinks.

Candace,
They are beautiful...I'd say hens too,but I'm no expert...
Since you have two of them, I think you should send one up to me...
I could really use a nice yellow hen...lol

Those darned confusing gouldians should just be eliminated to make it easy for you, Candace, so.... (just ship them on up to me and I'll eventually figure out what sex they are?!)

Waiting to hear what people who know what they're talking about say about this confusing duo... they sound pretty passive for males but then again, I don't know gouldians at all.

Are you going to call them Henny and Penny? (They need a twinsey name).

Candace, I don't know if you recall this thread or not

Everyone was leaning towards male, but it turns out that only hens lay eggs

Which to me would indicate that the yellow hens seem to have much darker coloured bellies compared to GB.

You can tell how much more orange/school bus yellow they have compared to the normal yellow hens and males. I find the strangest things these days.... must be the water :?
