Pastel and Silver gouldians
I am trying to convince a friend of how beautiful these birds are. She is determined that she does not like them, but has only seen one or two pics. I am determined that she would like them if she saw more of what they looked like. Does anyone have any beauties that they would like to show off for her benefit?

Here's two of my males. I started out only liking the green, then I got "into" blues, followed by the pastels and finally silvers. Maybe pricing has something to do with it.

I also used to not like the silvers. I think after seeing the beautiful colors of the normals that is takes some getting used to. But once you see the beauty in them you realize that they are also just a beautiful in their own way.
Although..... I still believe that the normals are the prettiest. Anytime someone comes to my aviary for the first time they always fall for the normal greens, purple breast and red heads. They are the ones they always notice.

Re: Pastel and Silver gouldians

Actually I think they perform as foils for one another. I love the normals but i think I'd want some of the paler colors along with them as well... they are so amazing together.
