any blues here

hi
these young are from a double factor yellow/blue cock and a yellow/blue hen. thought the one on the left may be blue - any comments appreciated.

I am not much help with the colour, but , they do look healthy and well fed congrats =D>

Doesn't look like they're from a DF Yellow though.
You have a baby in there (bottom) that looks dilute and/or normal - which would be impossible if the male was DF.

Likewise - you wouldn't get any blues from this pairing, if he was truly DF the only "blue" possibility would be Silvers.

Is the yellow male white breasted?

The smallest baby far left looks yellow to me.

I think the hen wasn't being faithful to him then!
Gouldians seem to be polygamous when bred in colonies.

I was thinking the same thing as Jordan :?
It is possible that although she went to nest with this male, she had been having an affair of the heart with another. :wink: One of the complications of colony breeding.
