The red line would have been given to the son from his mother. ;)

Thank you for clearing that up Misty :D I honestly had no idea where he got it from #-o Mom doesn`t have a red line, and I never thought to check Cheerio for one while he was with us.

It is what I'm finding with my boys that have red lines. But I have to wonder even if the father didn't show a red line I wonder if he wasn't carrying the gene for it - so that Mum and Dad once paired produced it. His sisters should now be carriers of the red line gene too now ;)
