pied fawn?? I think??

Post by Oshtay » Tue Aug 02, 2011 12:29 pm

she comes from a normal grey dad, and a saddleback pied mother. Her siblings look to be normal greys. what do you think??
Thanks! Taylor

I think its a pied fawn. The tail isn't black, its more of a fawny colour.

It's definately different from it's siblings. The tail seems very dull and muted compared to the crisp black and white of the others. I'll try and get a better picture to compare

Normal grey pied. (split pied)
fawns have much lighter beak color, not black/dark grey.
And the feathers would be fawn.
Sometimes a normal grey can have a brownish feathers.
Its more visible when the birds are young.
