How rare are yellow beaked zebra finches???

Post by finchman101 » Thu Aug 04, 2011 6:57 am

Just curious as to how rare the yellow billed zebra finch is???
I'm asking this because lately I've been noticing a few of my young birds are showing yellow beaks.
It's been fairly chaotic lately mutation wise as well, Im having so many different and new colours show through my birds that I've never seen before. Not sure if it's worth saying anything about???

This is a little write up on them from efinch

Sometimes I think the different mutations cycle and the pair surprises you. John sent me a pair of zebras almost 3 yrs ago this coming November and the last two clutches gave me silvers and Isabel. Up till then the pair only gave me split to fawn males and fawn.
