I have 2 crested pure white society chicks and just noticed that one have a different eye color then the other six chicks. All have dark brown/black eyes but this one seems to have dark pink/red eyes.....

Is this normal??

Would it be correct to say that the albino shouldn't be bred?

Lets hope we can get an answer from some on here. I really don't know what it means so far it sounds like its rare.
The link regarding INO's shows white Society with cream colors mixed with the white.
It's very interesting.

If you could post a pick of the baby it may be easier to identify. I am thinking that it is probably a creamino.
As for those surprise Ino babies, I have had 4 so far from the same pair that had always given me pieds before.
Of course I am now down to 1, Jacqui and Liz have ever so kindly given homes to the 3 others

Hey guys,
I can't seem to get a good picture with my iphone. I'll try and take one with the bigger camera, however I don't know if it'll turn out (and I'm terrible with trying to re-size the picture to get it to upload on finch forum!)
Flower (what i've named the little crested cremino) was born handicapped. He/She is missing amost an entire right wing, and 2 of her toes didn't grow in on her right foot. Flower still being fed by parents in the aviary (on the floor because he/she can't maintain balance on the perches) but I'm hopeful Flower will be weaneed soon, so I can move him/her to a more comfortable cage to get around in. Such a tame little darling. Loves to come out and just hang out with me on my finger or my shoulder.
