hi

I'd like to know how pied fawn's are bred?

I have a pied hen, if I were to get a fawn cock would they produce pied fawns?

if not how would I achieve them?

The pairing will give you some pied fawns , males and females. What color pied is your female?

she's a normal grey pied

If you male is visually fawn and female is gray pied this is what you may get:

50% Cheeked (SF) /Pied Fawn Males
50% Cheeked (SF) Fawn /Pied Females
the cheek on the female does not mean they will have cheek patches. They will be fawn split to pied since the dad is fawn.

If your male is visually a gray but split to fawn (lightbacked) this is what you may get:

25% Cheeked (SF) /Pied Fawn Males
25% Cheeked (SF) Fawn /Pied Females
25% Cheeked (SF) /Pied Males
25% Cheeked (SF) /Pied Females

If the father is split to pied or all pied and the mom is pied you will get all pied.

Now if you find an all white male this is where it gets interesting

a white male with a gray pied female can give you all gray normals split to pied.
