Lilac or Purple Gouldian hen?

Post by flyinverted » Sat Jan 21, 2012 4:11 am

Here's a bad photo of my RH XB BB goulidan. X Being Purple or Lilac, I'm not sure. What do you think ?

I'll work on a better photo tomorrow.

Thanks,
Steve

Looks like a Purple Breast to me, though pictures can be deceiving. Lilac Breast hens are usually a very light/pale pinkish color.

The photo is not clear but it definitely looks like a purple breast.
