Can the stripes of a zebra's tail be different colors(not rainbow heheh )
Like i noticed that my chicks have buff where the white should be. Lux has white tail stripes. normal? depend on the bird?
just curious

Yes, they can. I have seen anywhere from white to a creamy color

all of the chicks have a dark creme color to the stripes, very buff bellies. Lolita has a buff belly but her tail stripes are lighter(picture is deceiving) and lux has a WHITE belly with white stripes. just confuses me is all!
thanks for the help Dante!

No probelm! Your chicks are all hens, right?? My hens all have buffer bellies than my males. My male BB has a creamy belly, but the other two males have white.

i heard that the completely WHITE belly was a sign of LB. his belly is not even creme, it is pure white. like my albino ferret

but yes they are all hens and i know the hens have buff bellies. i really should get some recent pics up!
