Re: ALBINO ZEBRAS !!!!!
Albino zebras are very rare.
Your chick is most likely white bird with a fawn background.
the ruby eyes will turn brownis red when they age.
White chicks with red eyes are birds with fawn background.
White chicks with black eyes are birds with normal grey background.
But they are very pretty, thats for sure!

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!
I need to ask what the parents are?
please refer to efinch, under "Combinations"
http://www.efinch.com/species/whitzeb.htm
It makes reference to whites being combined with Continentl CFW the chicks will have red eyes which is confused with albino ....albinos have not been confirmed in zebras yet.
Can you post pictures of the parents?

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!
Yes, I have experienced this.
I got both white chicks with red eyes and dark eyes.
with time the red eyes will get brownish red or almost dark,
with reddish tint in them.
Zebras can throw almost any color,
they can have lots of hidden mutations in them
thats why I like zebras so much,
so much surprizes!

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!
I raise/breed several FF and FS, many times pair will produce all isabels and FF, other times a combination of silvers/FS or fawn silvers or fawn Isabels.
they do not always give the same colored offspring everytime, often it is a mix. Your pair as Vargur mentioned most likely has a fawn factor in it.
It would e helpful to see the parents to better help you.

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!
The father is a Florida silver (Silver Isabel)
The mom is a Silver possibly an Isabel. Also you male may be split to fawn (red eyes in chicks) but I am giving my opinion based on a visual.
JMO based on the visual look of the parents...The white chick will be Isabels, males take a while to develop cheeks and breast bars. With Isabels/FF/FS sometimes you see Fawn, silver, regular FF in the clutches. (The chicks I have right now have two white in the clutch, the other two look like your pair. Dad is a FF. The parents the FF came from are an Isabel and a FS.)
After the first maybe second molt if they are to change you will be able to tell by then. I have had FF males take a bit to color out. Time will tell with your little ones.

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!

Ok baby updates --- they look like red eyed Cfw to me --- it's hard to see in the pics but they did keep the red eyes.
But the one is missing the lines on her face .... Only has a spot on one side -- and nothing on the other side --- ??@@?? The other ones have there lines
Any ideas why ?

The other tear may be missing due to a hidden pied.. The dad looks split.
I saw a guy on hoobly who said he ahs rare albino zebras but he didnt know what to sell them for. I ignored it

Re: Albino Zebras !!!!!
If the bird were albino, it would have no pigment in the beak, no tear marks, no tail bars or color whatsoever. JUST a white bird with red eyes. like the very first pic you posted but the red in the eye would be way more prominent.
They are very beautiful though
