Normal Zebra Male w/white spots on head

I picked up today a male zebra normal in color but I noticed he has white spots on his head. I tried taking photos but the guy just won't sit still. I'll try again later after he calms down. What would the spots tell me that maybe there is a pied background?

Looks to be split to pied, he is hiding it well. From what I see he is a pretty boy. Nice color contrast

Sherry, Dante is right, a split to pied. Sometimes splits will show it on top of the head, under the chin and wings (usually white wing edges). Pied is recessive, she will pass this trait onto all her offspring.

try examining him in the areas Cindy said; see if you find more.

Well for one thing its a male LOL!!! and he does have a white streak on both of his wings from front to back.... Now him being a male with the gene pass to the young?

Sherry, peid is recessive both or one parent that carries the gene gives it to all the offspring. Pied is not sex linked.
