Cutie! :) I would say Fawn Isabel, possibly BB or OB since the tear mark is missing.

Cindy, you sometimes confuse me with your US talk, lol. What exactly do you mean when you say silver fawn isabel? Meaning the silver part, are you referring to actual silver mutations or like single factor FF? I just get confused sometimes because you people in the US often refer to mutations a little differently ;)

Silver fawn...it looks fawn in some parts and fawn in others...

Ameza how would you term the looks of this little one? It is not a clear picture but to look now...it might be considered a silver.

(The Australian terms are confusing some to me since they have some mutations we don't and are missing some we have...took a bit to get use to)

I would probably say that this is Grey isabel...
Since isabels usually are considered grey or fawn, do you mean one could say that there is a third type, that is isabel silver? But then it's still really confusing to say that someone can be silver and fawn isabel...

If I'm in doubt I've always gone with the rule I learned from "zebracrazy" is the tail is grey/silver it's Grey isabel but if it's beige then it's Fawn isabel.

I always thought "silver isabels" were in fact single factor FF.

I will use the same term then...the tail rule!!! I do not know where the silver fawn came from but at the time this bird fledged this is what I was told...one univeral set of terms would be nice.

I get why one would call that bird silver fawn isabel since it's clearly silvery on top but with a very fawnish belly. But yes I agree, universal names would be handy, since it seems to differ quite a lot what people call the colours. Especially the newer mutations.
