Pied gouldian?

Is there such a thing as a pied gouldian? My red head, unknown breast color, yellow back Gould that has been dumbfounding me since I got him is continuing to do so. As he is getting closer to finishing his second mount he has gotten even more green patches on his back and his tail looks to be coming in blue! He is either lilac or (dirty?) white breasted so he shouldn't be getting blue on his tail should he? Is the pied markings still looked at as a flaw and unwanted or is it starting to become more popular? Do these pied birds pass on the pied coloring to their young or is it just a genetic default that happens every so often?

I have had bunches of those and thought pied also but I am told that pied is lighter markings on a dark background... like yellow or white feathers on a green gouldian.
I jokingly refer to mine as dappled :D The dark spots on a light backgound  And the green spots have remained or become more distinct with future molts.

Candace, one of my females looks almost exactly the same as your female. I was told she is split to blue, and as each moult goes by, she seems to get more "dappled" 8) 8) coloring on her back.

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I was curious about and searching for this very same condition. The yellow back, white breast, black head hen that I purchased yesterday has this exact same "dappled" green. Not quite as much as yours in the picture, but the exact same coloration. Split to blue, you say??

I didn't suggest she was pied, was just hopping on to an old thread where someone asked that question. I will try to put up a pic, but my girl looks just like that bird in the pic in the thread, except not as many green spots, and they're a little fainter. Someone also said they had a bird with a similar condition and was told that it meant she was split to blue. Guess I'll find out if I ever get babies!

There are great variations in colors. Often SF males will have green spots on their back.
There is no visual way to tell split to Blue
