Gouldian babies

These three babies are from the same parents as Trish's babies Georgia and Sweet Pea that I sent her eggs to Washington. The dad is yb/rh/wb and the mom is yb/bh/wb. I am stumped as to what color the one is that isn't yellow. At first I thought a blue.... but hummm..... what do you all think?
Also, the parents have kept these babies stuffed. The smaller baby hatched out three days after the other two. But yesterday I had to start supplement feeding the two larger ones. They are still stuffing the baby, but have backed off on the other two. Don't know what is going on there......

Could be a silver if both parents are split to blue.

Well I have had silvers before, but this one just looks different.
I was wondering if it could be a pastel.....

You would only get a pastel if they were Purple Breast. With both parents WB you will only get WB chicks. So even if it was a SFYelllowBlue (pastel) it will visually be "silver"
Hope that made sense to you.

Thanks! I am leaning towards it being a silver , but that dark head threw me off. I thought for sure it was blue until those pin feathers came out. But I learned something new today so thanks!!!!

Don't know anything about Gouldian genetics, but they certainly look good. Odd the parents backed off on feeding the two older ones, usually it is the runt that they will stop feeding. Keep us posted on how they do.

They are so stuffed! I'm thinking a silver also. The little one is adorable with his open mouth

Also, is there a possibility the hen courted with a different male??
Congrats btw!!

Donna, aren't your birds colony bred?
Could it be possible that this chick is not necessarily from the same daddy, or that a different female laid an egg in the nest so the baby is an unintentional foster?
Is the father a SF Yellow?
In any case - I would bet money that it is a WB or LB SF Pastel Blue (visual silver) cock.
