I'm going to guess this is some form of sport.but it almost looks like...pearl. opaline.
Don't get me wrong,it really is only on the tipsof the feathers and does not complete the wing.
But here with tahny, two toned feather tip.
It doesnot edge the feqther like the picture looks like, there is grey at the end of the feather about a milimeter and then there is white. Pardon the pics are semi bad because i used my phone...Image

I'm not sure. Her mother is split, shes had the hour glass but not tahny yet,and it's possible she could molt some in(lolita has a few hour glasses currently but they come and go,sometimes she looks normal)
As far as i know, tahny hasn't had any since before her first molt.
So its a possibility for sure.
But these oblong white spots are on both wings. Lolita has outlined wings or 'white laced' which she passed to all three chicks. Lux does not have this. I'm guessing it may be due to the lacing passed by lolita.but i'm not sure!

This is a normal gray. Feathers can have different color shades within the feathers. There is no pearl opaline in zebras.

I know that opaline is not a zebra mutation,it was the best way i could explain. I was thinking it may be some form of sport.

I was never saying she wasnt normal grey :p
Still, the white lace leaves me questioning.

Katie...a feather has many colors within it if you look at them under the light. Not sure what your term sport means, never heard it applied with zebras.

*my bad* its like...a genetic fluke..like the male zebra with ghost markings.

Or grizzle in cockatiels..

And i know each feather has multiple layers of color but the white stands out. If i can find my camera, maybe i can get a clean picture
