So i was chilling with Tahny again and she has now molted in a white tail bar feather outlined in black.
I know bb does this but it's possible shes not even split(lolita is split though)
Here are piccies

She has what looks like faint orange but the camera didnt pick it up XP

You can also see the odd marks better in these pics to
Tahny being cute

Tahny on my head(brat decided my finger wasnt good enough lol)

Just thought i'd put it out there, she also has the heart bars like Lux
Still curious about his heart bars!

And Lolita has BB feathers but i don't have any recent pictures of them.

I do not see any markers in the tail to indicate split to BB.
If one parent is split to BB not all offspring will be split...50% split to BB and 50% normals. She looks normal.

The 'white' feather is outlined in black. That is what i was referring to as it looks like a full BB feather(just as an example, obviously she is not BB)
I know not all babies will be split. which is why i stated

She has had these weird outlined(where tail bars should be) feathers before. but it makes no sense to me
*EDIT* now that i think of it, the white tail feather with the black outlining almost appears to be an hour glass...a very wide hour glass. i have suspected she was split to BB before because she has shown random /bb markings throughout her 7 months of life but like i said, they are always random and not QUITE bb like.
here are some old pictures before she molted for the first time(fledgling) i'm sure you remember these

These were all Tahny.
This is one of Lolita's thin hourglass tail bars

and she had a tail bar that looks exactly like the one Tahny is molting in currently

I suggest you find a split to BB or full visually BB male, pair the two and if you get full visual BB offspring it will confirm she is split to BB. I raise BB and I see no clear marker in the tail feather pictured at this time of BB.

She really is a silly girl
I don't know where i am supposed to find a BB male. I DID find a /BB male at petco a few weeks ago but i didn't have any money on me! or that boy would BE in my house already!
oh he was beautiful, he had on/bb tail hourglass and it was perfect, he had orange eyebrows and stretched flanks. I WANTED HIM SO BAD!!
What do you say this feather is then? if not /BB then what? Lolita molted in the same type of outlined white feather when she was still sitting on the eggs that my three girls hatched out of.
(it's the yellowy picture)

It is just a feather....as one expert told me zebras can have all kinds of tail patterns. Only a few tell what a bird is carrying.

that's so interesting! so they can just molt in random feathers? that don't match?
