Falcon and Gus BOTH have almost prominent chest bars here and there. They also have, in the past, shown hour glass tail bars. Gus has orange flecks in her cheek.
Well i just noticed Tahny has a thin chest bar as well!
She turns a year in about a week.

So what mutations cause females to have chest bars?
I would understand it if just Tahny had them, and it was a small amount like hers, but Falcon and Gus both have a whole thin bar that goes across their chest. and Gus has orange flecks in her cheeks..
Would it still be guessed as a /BB?
anyway, i tried to get as many good photos as possible, but she's a finch... I'll go to my neighbors house some time later and get pics of Gus and Falcon, because theirs are much more prominent then Tahny's.

I'm just glad she was in the mood for millet today, because she was good and sat still for some clear pictures!

Those are not bars.. They are caused due to a bad diet or lack of sunlight. Put them in the sun to see if they moult out.

After i lost Lolita, they have gotten their sunlight at LEAST every week!
YES they are bars! and Falcon and Gus get full sunlight every day. They are bars.

Also, my finches get Kale, seeds, kibble, cuttlebone, and occasionally egg food.

I got that from experience. Those are not the bars you would see on a /BC.. Also /BB and /BB do not show signs of breast bars.... Those are from lack of sunlight and/or poor diet.

Well i have already explained myself.
There is no way it is from lack of sunlight or from a poor diet.

Well I can assure you it is not from a hidden split. On /BC show these bars.

oh well. At least i know she isn't lacking nutrients... after what happened to Lolita, you know i wouldn't make the same mistake.. i have fixed my mistakes and kept them healthy.

Now i'm just curious as to where these bars are from...

I wouldn't necassarily call these bas, they are more of flecks. They will most likely moult out

Okay!

So me and a few very experienced friends have came to the conclusion that from the pictures your birds are not showing any signs of being split. They look like plain, normal zebras.

I forgot about those! So Falcon is /BB. But I would say that is it.. None show any other signs. I am not trying to be rude or mean but a few of us have noticed how every time you see the slightest thing you go on about how your birds is split. It has happened with pied, OB, and BB to name a few. Then when we try to tell you different you get offensive. And to be honest, a few of them have just started ignoring your posts because of it. If you don't want an honest opion without getting defensive then don't ask the question.

I use exclamation points because i was excited... Not to be yelling. And i specifically specified that i wasn't trying to sound mean..

When i reply back with an otherwise question, it's not to be defensive. It's just that with the pictures i have, I'm unable to capture what is needed and most people can't see it like i can.

For example, the orange in Lux's wings, it was there. But it may have been a bit brown.
For OB, GUS HAS ORANGE FLECKS IN HER CHEEKS
You can zoom in on it all you want and take out a colour from it but that doesn't completely bash down everything said..

NOW i'm getting defensive.
