this baby fledged this morning and i love the colour. but i dont know wat colour he is. anyone know ? both its parents are fawn with a tiny bit of pied. he's in the gallery under chicks, picture called newest baby.[/img]

I would venture a guess but it is easier if we can see the parents, can you post a pic of them as well?

i thought it was a fawn pied but he has the orange bar?

Im not too sure about the baby, fawned pied would be my best guess

As for the parents:

Yip, you're not far off according to me.

I think they are orange breasted fawns, with maybe a little pied coloration if any. The normal fawn does not have the orange breast band but a black one.
