Which mutations of zebra finches hatch with pink skin? Anyone got a quick list? Thanks.

I think they all hatch pink, but their skin will quickly darken unless they are CFWs (both mutations and sexes), or heavy pieds.

Baby rats are the same way, darkening up every day until you can clearly see their markings and have a good guess at color just a few days in.

Congrats on babies! :D

CFW is one mutation that hatches with pink skin.

Not sure about any others.

Aspen I have seen pink skin in most birds with light pigment. Pied white, Florida fancies, and CFW have all been pink skinned though cases may vary this is my personal experience

My fawn Isabel was definitely different than his NG brother right from hatching. The normal Fawns have the same color skin as the NGs and we couldn't tell the difference till the feathers came in. I'm wondering if the grey strain Isabel has pink skin or if it is darker. Anyone know?
