Diamond Firetail siblings

My baby Diamond Firetails are now 5 weeks old. These babies are siblings. Colors are normal, silver or fawn and white. The red on the silvers tail is much brighter and more than the white baby.
Both parents are normal color split to fawn.

Wondering how white? I have only primary and camel

I think you have normal -fawn - silver. I went close to breeding a white diamond once and only once...lol and it was pure white with a red tail.....just like a white zebra.
unfortunately rats got into the aviary and it was killed in the breeder nest with its other nest mates.

as for that normal young bird - if a hen its just a normal hen - if a cock it will be split fawn. if you want to breed more fawns you only require the split cock with a normal to breed fawn mutation

wildbill I only have the fawn and the normal, both in red and yellow tails. What do I do to attempt to breed silvers? Breed fawn to normal and hope for the best? Pieds? I suppose wait for a bird to show a spot of white and breed it back?

the only silver I knew about was breed by a guy around 300 miles from where I liver and bred by normal. he made the mistake of leaving it with the normal birds and lost it completely/
as for pied they too are bred from normal stock. best bet there would be looking for a normal with a white wing flight feather or white toenail. as for the white flight feather you don't require many -just one regardless of its size.
white feathers on back of neck or back have not worked for me at all. those birds total failures. now once the pied gene gets into the stock a totally normal looking bird can produce a very heavy pied
